Our Women & Gender Empowerment Programme is dedicated to promoting gender equality, advancing women’s rights, and creating opportunities for women and girls to reach their full potential — socially, economically, and politically.

Our Aapproach

Women’s Cooperatives & Savings Groups

• Establish and strengthen community-based women’s cooperatives to promote financial independence.
• Provide training on cooperative management, financial literacy, and collective savings schemes.
• Facilitate access to microloans and revolving funds that support women-led small businesses and community projects.
• Goal: Support 500 women’s cooperatives within 5 years, directly benefiting 10,000+ women and families.

Economic Empowerment & Microenterprise Support

• Offer small business grants, startup kits, and mentorship for women entrepreneurs in urban and rural areas.
• Provide vocational and digital skills training in tailoring, craft-making, agriculture, ICT, and trade.
• Partner with private sector organizations to create supply chain opportunities for women-owned enterprises.
• Goal: Train 5,000 women entrepreneurs and help 2,000 start or expand sustainable businesses.

Leadership & Advocacy for Gender Equality

• Conduct leadership development workshops to prepare women for participation in governance and decision-making.
• Support advocacy campaigns promoting women’s rights, gender equality, and elimination of gender-based violence (GBV).
• Collaborate with traditional and religious leaders to promote gender-sensitive community norms.
• Goal: Empower 1,000 women leaders and advocate for policies protecting women’s rights at all levels.

Education & Skill Development for Girls

• Provide scholarships, school supplies, and mentorship programs to encourage girls’ education and reduce dropout rates.
• Partner with schools to organize girls’ clubs that teach life skills, health education, and leadership.
• Promote STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) to close the gender gap in tech and innovation.
• Goal: Enroll 1,500 girls in mentorship and scholarship initiatives annually to ensure continued access to quality education.

Health & Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention

• Establish safe spaces for survivors of abuse to access counseling, legal aid, and psychosocial support.
• Conduct community sensitization programs on domestic violence, reproductive health, and women’s rights.
• Partner with healthcare providers to deliver reproductive and maternal health services for women and adolescent girls.
• Goal: Provide GBV prevention and response services to at least 20,000 women and girls across communities each year.

Partnerships & Policy Engagement

• Providing regular career counselling sessions in schools to help youth discover their strengths and career paths.
• Building a network of mentors across industries to guide young people in their personal and professional development.
• Hosting job fairs, entrepreneurship forums, and networking events to connect youth with opportunities.

Advocacy for Inclusive Education

• Collaborate with governments, NGOs, and women’s networks to strengthen gender mainstreaming in development policies.
• Engage men and boys in gender equality education to promote shared responsibility and positive masculinity.
• Support advocacy efforts for inclusive governance, equitable labor rights, and women’s access to resources.
  Goal: Influence at least 10 national and local policies promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment within 5 years.
